Hi all this is my first write for the year.
Wanted to write a tune called the funky chicken and here is the result.
All comments welcome. Rob

The Funky Chicken

I was up late last night commotion I was hearing.
Was no hare nor a grizzly bear or army on a mission.
It was a sight in the middle of the night just outside the kitchen
It was my wife all dressed in white doing the funky chicken.

She hoped two feet in to the air one sock one missing.
She flapped her arms and scratched the ground she sure made a vision.
It aint fare but she don’t care don’t mention finger licken.
It was my wife all dressed in white doing the funky chicken.
..................................................................................................
Well I don’t care what people say or what’s their point of view.
If you think I'm crazy then maybe you are too.
So come and join me on the conga line lose your Inhibition you'll be fine.
..................................................................................................

Its do or dare don’t have that flare when wanting recognition.
When they won’t do want you want them to, then clarify your position.
When it aint right no need to fight just wait for intermission
You’re up tight in the middle of the night doing the funky chicken.

I was up late last night commotion I was hearing.
Was no hare nor a grizzly bear or army on a mission.
It was a sight in the middle of the night just outside the kitchen
It was my wife all dressed in white doing the funky chicken.

"Robert4580":

LOL laugh !!!

"...If you think I'm crazy then maybe you are too..." Oh, brother, is that ever priceless!

Why, this little ditty is so dang irresistible that I'd scatter my feathers all up and down that hoppin' "conga line" for a chance to hoof this one up with any female funky enough to do the "funky chicken" with me crazy !!!

Pure fun at 45 rpm, it surely is.

LOREN

All I can add to what already has been said is this is absolutely fantastic

Two thumbs up for creativity, two more for originality, and another two for performance.

You put a vision in my head that will be hard to get rid of!

Rob,

That's a great sound... very professional to my ears. I have to compliment you on the arrangement, too. It's excellent. And you top it off with a fantastic presentation!

A terrific listen.

All the best,
Noel
