This is another road trip love song. And it sure was a task putting this together. But it's finally presentable. I deleted more tracks than I've ever done in the process. I finally found the right tracks to make this happen. Some of the track info got lost when I deleted tracks (*). I hope you enjoy this. Feel free to comment.

So here's the important stuff:

BB tracks

Guitars: 649, 4492, 1850, 1025
Bass: 995
Mando: * pretty low in the mix
Drums: RD Nashville Pop
B3: 686
Vocals: Solaria
Lead and other misc clean guitars: Me & Spark40/Tele

Get Lost

Get Lost (With You)

[Verse]
City lights are fading fast
Let's run loose forget the past
Hand in hand we trace our way
Through the night let's slip away

[Verse 2]
Mile by Mile we feel so free
With you here it's all I need
Whispers travel in the air
Together we’ve got no cares

[Chorus]
I wanna get lost with you
Find places we never knew
Just me and you in the groove
Get lost together with you.

[Verse 3]
Maps and plans we leave behind
In this world just you and I
Every step a new surprise
In your eyes my love resides

[Verse 4]
Through the night till morning light
Side by side we'll find the light
No direction we don't care
As long as I'm with you there

[Chorus]
I wanna get lost with you
Find places we never knew
Just me and you in the groove
Get lost together with you.

Oh Oh Oh Oh

V4
Chorus

Herb,

Love this! The track has such a great contemporary sound. The mix is tremendous - big & full.

Solaria sounds strong singing this piece - great phrasing. You have an excellent touch with Synth V.

Really enjoyed this.

Herb,

So, what's not to like about this? I would say, "Not a thing." Every track contributes as I suspect you intended it to.

This has a contemporary sound that would probably do well on both the country and pop charts. Your music is always well worth the time to listen. This one put a smile on my face.

I've done a lot of traveling in my time (42 countries and all but 2 states) - i can empathize with the desire to go anywhere with some you care for - and to keep gpoing wherever.

Nicely done in all respects.

Alan

The treat in this one is your lead work.
Ace work on the synth vox. Nice progression under the chorus too.

Herb, super song! Toe tapping fun and very hooky with killer lead guitar fills. The vocals sound great and the overall mix is sparkly. You're playing the music my ears want to hear. Love it!

Thank you. I'm almost satisfied with the guitars on this. There's always something I think I could have done better when I listen. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks Bob. I've been working on getting more contemporary with the sound. And it really doesn't require a lot to get a full sound. People think it takes a bunch of tracks but it really doesn't. Anyway, thanks for listening and commenting.

Really well produced positive love song. Solaria works really well on the vocals.

Hi Herb,

Love the hook! That's something you don't hear that much these days, but really adds to the song.

Guitars overall sound great. Vocal sounds great too, very natural.

Good song!

WOW, this is a knock-me-off-my-seat-and-get-me-on-my-feet kinda song. I'd love to take a road trip with ya, Herb. This is such a good write. Not sure of the bandmates you fired, but the ones you finally hired are just perfect. Love the lyrics and the melody you made for them. You've really found the magic button on these synths. Guitars are perfect in their response. So well played.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hi, Herb.

Nice pop - as the songs says, "Everything in the groove". Easy on the ears, bops right along.

Everything a pop song needs to be.
