Hi all, Just got a version of BIAB 2024 for Mac. I actually had the app back in 2007 and still have a pile of song files that work, which is amazing in itself. I'm looking for tips of how to integrate my old files with the new folder hierarchy. I'm finding it difficult to navigate. Currently I'm 5 to 6 clicks through folders to get what I want, which is tiresome. My old files have names like RB-32, so I need to use the Open by Song Title option and that's all working great. I also have many folders separating the genres of music, and I'm wondering if that's necessary and or an encumbrance. I also need to know, when saving a new or altered song, where I should be saving it to?
I guess I'm asking for general tips to navigate your song files library - I'd like to quickly open and or save files in a methodical way that I won't regret later. Maybe there's a YouTube video?
Thanks, and looking forward to hearing from you all.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Normally this is a great place to make your first query but, in the case, I recommend you use the Mac forum here: https://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=39&page=1I know the Windows version had a complete overhaul in 2018 of the folder organization used by BIAB. There is even a utility called Cleanup that changes the organization if the installer wasn't used. What I do not know is whether that effort was carried over into the Mac version of BIAB, which normally is released six months or so after the Windows version annual updates. Get some advice from Mac users on that specific forum.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
