Hi All,

Here's a new song called The Dawn (Big Indian Park).

As a point of reference, Big Indian Park is a special place located in the mountains of Ulster County NY...

The sun was sinking low
Big Indian Park
Silver tangled hair
Lighting up the dark
And that’s when the years fade away
And all of life seems to fade to gray
From the minutes that fall off the night
We are fighting the forever light

Let go the dawn
Let go the dawn
We can see what’s come and gone
So let go the dawn

I dreamed I would find you upon this old stone wall
And we would sit together for hours I recall
Come on down but the wall is too high
I’ll help you down but you just have to try
And over on the dirt road we will walk
I could listen for hours when you talk

Let go the dawn
Let go the dawn
We can see what’s come and gone
So let go the dawn

The sun was sinking low
Big Indian Park
Mountains and the moon
Whisper their remarks
And that’s when the years fade away
And all of life seems to fade to gray
From the minutes that fall off the night
We are fighting the forever light

Let go the dawn
Let go the dawn
We can see what’s come and gone
So let go the dawn
We can see what’s come and gone
So let go the dawn
Let go the dawn
Let go the dawn

So well done, Bob Dean. I have become a huge fan. Excellent band selection. I really like the song idea and how you developed it into this beauty. Your vocals are always so expressive and of course your lyrics help bring it out. There is so much in the mix, and yet you manage to tame it all into perfection, making it seem like it's just you and your guitar.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Great vocal and lyrics, you do know how to write them!

Great instrumentation.

Super mix.

Bob,

I like it . . . a lot! It’s a little bit of a different sound for you, but still your signature style embodies it from first to last note. Excellent write and . . . very cool!!

All my best to you,

Bob,

Your writing is Solid. Always.

Nice BAND. Well produced. Nice touch of "new elements" mixed with the classics.

Why you aren't touring the coffehouse concert venues is a mystery.

Synth bass lead WFMMan VU like the synth Leonard Cohen of OWTManhattan.
The title and synth bass certainly made my ears focus...compare and contrast.
I really like you vocal but I'd love to hear Nico cover it...can that be arranged?

Cheers

Hi Bob,

I like that synth a lot in this very lovely song.
And the lyrics... They are so good, but that is what your lyrics always are!
Loved this song.

Cool tune. Tasteful use of synths. M.Brent guitar track fits really well. Lighthearted, easy listen. Good one and thank you for sharing.

I really enjoy how you have added new elements to your arrangements. Interesting combination of indie and synths. The story is nice play between dreams, sunset and dawn. The chorus is classic Bob Dean at his best.
