Howling On The Moon I made an instrumental song 4 years ago, it was called Even Mutual Autumn Eve, a palindrome title. Unfortunately, I couldn't make palindrome lyrics for it, but I thought the song had such a nice melody that it required something special. And then, tongue in cheek or tooth on throat, I came up with this silly werewolf thematic story, sorry about it, hopefully it fits the outdoors/campfire mood of the song. Luckily I managed to lure my friend to howl the wolf part RealDrums: Country Waltz RealTracks: Acoustic Bass 1121 Acoustic Guitar Pick 822 Acoustic Guitar Strum 824 Nylon Guitar 2716 Electric Guitar Solo 1286 Acoustic Piano 2118 Organ 1781 Harmonica 2858 Vocals by me & She-Wolf Mixed in Cakewalk by BandLab Lyrics: Sunset, time to bite magic made tonight dancing with the lamb to let her find out what I am. Bushland, flesh is young her taste still on my tongue fire burning, night returning I know that soon she'll be howling on the Moon. The instincts don't rehearse bound to pass the curse spirits kiss the belle initiation of the spell. C2 Treasure the wild within now when we are akin silver bullets kill survival rules your will. This is very cool and creepy at the same time... conquered images of a new wave horror film... I love it... even without the palindrome...

Janne,
Love the melody of this melancholy song! The instrument choices in this are good ones! The double tracked vocal sections are very effective and the harp really sets the mood for this!
I think you did an excellent job on this!
Thanks, Torrey

Very cool song Janne, Super vocal and harmony processing. Just loved the mix. The harp on the right was a perfect choice, I think this one of my favorite songs of yours. Well done...

The sad waltz is a lovely sound, and the subject is pretty unique. The instruments sound great. As everyone else said, the doubled vocals fit here really nicely. Note to self - do something in a minor key, this is very cool.

That tiny harmonica never sounded more ominous. Great instrument choices, great topic to write about. Gave me the heebee jeebies. Good work!

Strong images are conjured as well as amusing ones...aongst the gore I saw a female werewolf in a NASA suit kicking lunar dust while howling: “That’s ahwooooahn small step for wooohman, and ahwooooahn giant leap for wolfkind.” Cool music and arrangement.

Excellent track. The instruments and vocals combine well for a haunting effect.

"Even Mutual Autumn Eve" is a very unusual palindrome, and this is a very unusual song, Janne. Love it, man! Yes, a song to scare around a campfire in the middle of the forest. A very haunting melody, and you illustrate it magically with music. The harmonica seems to be warning us to stay in our blankets and those haunting voices in the background make us shiver there.

Thanks bloc-head for your kind and creepy comment I hadn't thought about making a video for this song, but now that you made me think of it... a 15 minute epic like Thriller would be fun Janne

Thanks, Torrey Thanks Torrey for your heartwarming feedback I'm glad you liked the melancholy mood, the RT harp really works with it. I thought that the vocal doubling would make somebody think of a pack of werewolves, but good to hear that it is effective. Janne

"The instincts don't rehearse bound to pass the curse spirits kiss the belle initiation of the spell."
A most cool write and our favorite line is the first of this verse.
We love the melody and the band is perfect with the piano and harmonica as standouts. Your vocals and your friend's howls fit just right too!
Most enjoyable Janne!
