Hi dear biab club members, I submit a composition made with Biab's realtracks except for the choirs. Simple musical construction (no musical coloration with other instruments). For the mix I used Ozone 10. The volume is lower but the sound quality seems better. Used tools Vst biab Daw studio one 5 working method I started from a style "_emotional style" and replaced some realtracks with others Piano 1533 instead of 1535 Soloist electric guitar 1530 ( guitar 2 deleted). Choir : Eastwest choir Tempo 120 bpm Thank you for your advice if you have the time or the desire. Hey Derochette, I almost avoided a listen because [Heavy] Metal is not my cup of tea and when I saw "Metal" I was almost fooled. But I'm glad I listened. You did a great job in arranging this, the guitars were pleasant to listen to. Nicely done.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2025 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Good song and some interesting (and good) instrument choices.
As for the arrangement, I would wait until 0:59 with the drums to build up the song more slowly.
Mix-wise, the drums are too bright and could have a bit more low end (the latter may not be necessary if you turn down the highs).
But I already like the song as it is now. It's pretty awesome.

Two things come to mind...the drum count in makes no sense under the lead guitar and the drums are lightweight - it seems to be all snare & cymbal with a bit of tom thrown in. I wouldn't use metal as a label as it means many things to many people and rarely what is interned. You have a solid "rock" guitar over a nice blend of instruments playinga very, very cool progression.

Quite a pleasant listen. I kept waiting for the choir to kick in, I never heard it. Got me wondering if my system is messed up or something. Still, very nice indeed.

Less metal than rock, but a nice listen! Based on the description, I was expecting some overblown string section, but it was a pleasant piano/lead guitar/violin piece with driving drums underneath.

Hi Bass Thumper,
It is true that it is not real metal arrangement. And I should have chosen another title. Thank you for your nice comment.

Hi B.D. Thomas,
I fully agree with you. I took the drum realtrack as it is without making any changes. Thank you for your advice with the EQ. But given the following comments, I have to review this drum track which needs to be improved. And thank you also for your appreciation.

Hi rayc, You're absolutely right, it's not metal and the title is ill-suited. For the drum track, I took it as it is and must absolutely be reworked. Thank you for observing the count on the drum, I had not noticed it. And thank you for your constructive comment.

Hi TuneMonger,
Thank you for commenting on my composition. It is true that the choirs are present but a little too discreet. I will take your constructive remark into account.

Hi dcuny,
I am always very attentive to the comments made to me. And I thank you for the remark on the drums where I took over the realtrack without making the slightest modification. As a reminder, the style is "_emotional style". In view of the previous remarks, I will have to review this track which has certain shortcomings. Thanks again for your comment.
Kindly regard

Hi Scott C,
It's always a real pleasure to read you because you are always encouraging. I also thank you for your comment on soundcloud. For this composition, I wanted to use only realtracks of biab from a style but I note that it is necessary to rework the realtracks often starting from the generated midi files because according to the construction of chords some of those- these may have some imperfections. thank you again.

Derochette, Yes, this is more symphonic than metal, but distinctly your style anyway. As always, I enjoy the big sound you create with your compositions; emotion is conveyed with space for the listeners internal cinema. Very good!

Great all BiaB composition.
This really showcases the power of BiaB in talented hands. It has a very cinematic feel.
Nice mix. It sets up an excellent soundstage on our monitors.
Well done!

PS Thanks for your kind review of our song Deep Ellum. I mention it here as I didn’t want to bounce it since we have a new post.
PPS Ozone 10 is excellent. I think it's a good step up from version 9.
