Hi all
I haven't been on the forum for quite a while, but got back on recently for technical help (with success, thanks)

Here's a song I wrote a few years ago. I think it is a good example of how great real band tracks sound. The vocals and guitar were live recorded, everything else is RB. I did all the tracks at home, then had a pro studio mix done. Hope you enjoy.

Neat song. There've been a lot of railroaders in my family and I appreciated your lyrics. The video was put together very well too.

Brian...to be sure a great train song...I live in a town where the economy is supported by the Burlington Northern and its employees...the trains run though our town every five minutes on average...I really enjoyed the song...great production and performance!

Good sound on this, Murf.
Reminds me of “The wreck of the old 97”.

That's a toe tapper. The chorus is memorable and the harmonies are a plus.

We need more passenger trains and routes in the U.S.

Hi Murf,

Enjoyed your song very much.

I particularly liked the instrumental section in the middle.

I thought your vocals in the verses could have been a touch louder.

Good work.

Best Regards
Nigel

Hey Murf, great song, great story. Love that banjo.
Also loved those old sepia vintage photos.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

my goodness this is good.

yep i agree its a shame in lots of places 'the trains dont run anymore'.

in england there are various groups that love to rebuild
old locomotives etc etc. when i was a kid i loved to go on the mini trains.

kudos on this song.

Nice work...mix wise it's out of your hands so nothing to mention.

Uplifting song with a very catchy chorus, I like it!
