My latest country ballad. This is a typical love lost song.
All comments welcome. Rob

I Miss You

I often stop and wonder why ever since you said goodbye I miss you
yes I miss you.

Your words keep wondering through my mind then they take me back in time
so easy to remind that I miss you oh yes I miss you.

Chorus
Your not so easy to forget I have no regrets.
But once we made the best of friends we knew it had to end.

Bridge

Chorus
Your not so easy to forget I have no regrets.
But once we made the best of friends we knew it had to end.

So best to leave things in the past and questions not to ask wont listen to my my heart yes I miss you I do miss you.
And when I see you passing bye I know I can not even lie although I want to die.

I miss you I surely miss you.
I miss you I miss you

Rob,
This song & your vocal performance remind me of Richard Hawley.
Dropping in a xylophone part was inspired.
The strings work wonderfully.

Lovely work mate.

Rob,
typical?! Awesome!
Very easy listen. Everything flowing very smoothly. Strings sit very nicely and add a lot of nice color to composition. Vocals are...I am a bit jealous, so will not comment smile

Smoooooooth.

It ticked all the right boxes: pleasant melody, well sung, nice arrangement, good instrumental break at just the right time... It had the comfortable feel of a song that's been heard before, but without feeling derivative.

Excellent work.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Rob,

Beautiful! You already know how much I enjoy your vocals - this is just another reason why. Wonderful backing tracks. Everyuthing exacrly as it should be.

On the particular song, your vocal reminds me somewhat of David Houston. Much enjoyed, as usual.

Rob,

A lovely sad country ballad!
The melody is beautiful.
The chord change to Sub-dominant minor at the chorus is very nice.
Wonderful vocal as usual.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.
