I've been working on archiving some of the songs I have yet to put lyrics to...I've thrown them into a instrumental album called "There Are No Words"...the songs are ideas not yet fully developed...this is one of them...I hope for it to be an anthem of some sort someday...different than my country/folk/gospel fare but variety is the spice of life...so if you do...thanks for listening and I appreciate your thoughts...Dan Exaltedhttps://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=14585741Key=Bm to D , Tempo 95, Length (m:s)=4:02 No intro. 92 bar chorus, from bar 1 to bar 92. Dan ...
I looked in for a few seconds and saw this with no comments. So, I took a few minutes to listen. So glad I did.
I really enjoyed this!!!! Calming, soothing, and a pure joy to listen to. It would make a terrific soundtrack piece as is. I have literally, two or three hundred instruments for which a lyric would nice. Lyrics arrn't my strong point.
Glad you posted this. Gotta go now - time for round three of meds for my wife. Take care.

Alan Alan...thanks so much for your comments...I wasn't sure whether this would get any...it's far afield from most of my posts...we probably all have these lying around...compositions with no words (yet?)...and you know sometimes they don't need them...it is hard however to title them cause you may lock yourself into a direction they don't need go in...well we'll se...thanks again...Dan

I think it's a good song and I'm glad you resurrected it. I'm not sure where you could add vocals, it sounds like an instrumental to me. Like a film score. A good one!

Cool song - the melody sounds like it would work nicely as a vocal.
Thanks for putting it out "As-Is"

Hi, Dan. Got any Dixieland? Asking for a friend. Man, this is so good. It may not have your usual "country/folk/gospel fare," but it is full of your inspiration and passion. Excellent piano and those strings sound amazing. What a beautiful melody and a strong build. AN incredible mix. Just beautiful, man.

Dan, Very nice composition. Classy, yet has a modern feel. I think piano is a little too loud in places, not throughout the tune. Good one and thank you for sharing.
Misha.

We would not have any concern over lyrics as this is very cinematic in feel. It conjures up many mellow and pleasant images ... a good thing!
It's a great example of user instrumental performances and BiaB tracks.
Excellent!

Dan,
You've crafted a beautiful sounding instrumental here! I didn't take note of the sounds of the realtracks in this but I certainly did the parts you contributed! They are polished and pro sounding all the way! This will be an even more fabulous song when you get inspiration for some lyrics! It's a great job all around! Thanks, TB

It's taken me some time to come around to listening. I have to admit I was put off by the label (...Modern Symphonic Anthem). To be honest I hear it as neither symphonic nor anthemic, but it is a lovely song. What happened at 3.15?

To be honest I hear it as neither symphonic nor anthemic, but it is a lovely song. What happened at 3.15? Ray...I always appreciate your thoughts...yeah I guess I may have mislabeled this one (or not?)...the dictionary defines symphonic as "suggestive of a symphony especially in form, interweaving of themes, or harmonious arrangement" and an anthem as "a rousing or uplifting song identified with a particular group, body, or cause"...I thought this was both (at least to me...but I've been wrong many times)....well at least it's "modern" because it's not an old symphony or an old anthem...so maybe one out of three...I did the instrumental part right!...thanks for your comments...Dan
