In this tune I played the lead guitar on my "blue strat."

To the best of my recollection:

The bass was 537 bass acoustic pop sw 165
Real Drums Jazz Brushes
Soloist was real 716 sax tenor soloist rock boogie ev 160 blues

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hi Ron,

welcome to the showcase. Wonder why you haven't posted before, as you are a great guitarist. I especially liked your doubling the sax.
Enjoyable listen.

Thanks, Greg & Guenter! I'm glad you liked the tune.

Guenter, I hadn't been playing much in recent years until I retired about 10 months ago and I decided to get back into music again. Interesting that you noticed my doubling the sax . . . that was one of those spur of the moment ideas that I thought would be fun. A band that I played in for years had a great sax player and he and I would often trade solos and sometimes double each other.

A nice play here, at times it sounds like the blues and others it has a country flavor, excellent work, thanks for sharing!

Ron,

Welcome to the Showcase.

Nice entrance. Cool picking. And a very interesting mix of styles of RTs. Pop bass, jazz drums, boogie sax, New Orleans piano? - sounds good.

An enjoyable listen.

Ron,

That is a very nice arrangement and a well balanced mix. It sounds like you know your way around a mixing board. I hope you'll post more songs soon.

Thanks again, everyone! Your comments are much appreciated.

By the way, in my original post I mentioned using a RealTrack bass, but as I went back and opened my Logic Pro file I realized that I actually played the bass part on my Fender Precision Bass.
