Into The Mist As per a few suggestions I am posting my write up at the end of this message so that others can form their own visions while listening. Warning this is a slow ambient song so if that is a genre you do not like you may want to skip this one. BiaB style - Enlighten - Bright 6/8 UK Pop Tempo - 60 BPM I deleted the drum track. Bass - Kontakt-Kirk Hunter Virtuoso Basses Piano - Kontakt - Karanyi Polyscape - preset Rise and Shine Guitar - Synthmaster 2 - preset Cosmic Rip Strings - Synthmaster - preset - PO Dark Star Utility chord track - EastWest - Symphonic Choir - Altos Sections of the chord track were also put through Phasebox into PHDen Mirage - preset Smoothest Strings 5 From their website "Phrasebox is what we at Venomode call a phrase arpeggiator. It's a cross between a MIDI file player, an arpeggiator, and a re-pitcher." Misha put me onto this one so thank you very much Misha!I am playing via my MIDI keyboard controller the lead sound, Kontakt - Experimental preset Desolate Dones. As always all comments are welcomed. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- He is walking through the woods on a path that he has walked a million times. But this time he is confronted with a thick wall of mist and fog. Now everyone watching this movie knows that if he goes into the misty fog he will die. But our hero is as dumb as a rock and hears the mist calling him so he enters. Death is swirling around him but he sees a ray of sunshine only to have it cut off. Another ray of sunshine appears but unknown to him it is controlled by evil forces. Consequently he ....... well you know that happens to him.

Mario,
Like this a lot . . . again, well-titled tune as it truly evokes a misty mood. Had to laugh at "Now everyone watching this movie knows that if he goes into the misty fog he will die. But our hero is as dumb as a rock and hears the mist calling him so he enters." Perfect! Love the production . . . and that choir effect--really nice! Well done!
All my best,
Deej

Well done Mario, very soothing yet mysterious. I didn't read your commentary until after the listen and I got the feeling of floating in space connected to the ship only by a thin tether and no jet pack or robot arm to stand on. Utter darkness, utter silence, but around 2:00 the sun begins to peek out from behind the earth.
Great job.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2025 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

We're on a somewhat calm sea, close to shore, and we can hear the soft, crashing waves. We begin to feel an uneasiness that can't be explained. Is the island haunted? Are we rowing into danger? We hear heavenly voices calling, but are they sirens tempting us? There is a light as the waves get closer and we approach foggy land. Slowly, silhouetted forms take shape and we know we finally arrived to our home and all of our lost loved ones.
Is that about right, Mario?

Excellent New-Age piece. Dreamscape. Well mixed. Any number of documentaries could use this for background...

Mario, you should be raking in the bucks composing for the cinema and other screen-based productions.
I swear I hear whispers from the dark side after the 2:25 mark.

Nice - I liked the sound sweeping across the speakers. Spacey. I didn't think it was quite as dark as you described. Maybe a bit haunting any mysterious, but not really hinting an real danger. But maybe I'm just like that guy in the movie...

I can imagine the mist on a British moor and the ghost of a lady is inviting me to join her company. Very enjoyable soundscape, I really like the choir and how it is introduced. The chords are magical. The lead sound is haunting. Great production. Now I'm wondering how do I get out of this soothing masterly MIDI mist!?

I love your soundscapes. Perfect track for a BBC documentary about sea life. Thanx so much. I never thought about a documentary about sea life but you are correct, it would be a good fit. Thanx for that.

Janne Thanx Janne. Another great idea about the subject matter of this song. I like the idea about getting others' ideas like this one. They give me thoughts about potential songs. Mario.
